One of Daniel's favorite things is to play piano with his big sister Allison! Daniel finally likes his stuffed lion that we took him to Ethiopia. It has taken him over two months to not be scared of it!

A snowy day!

Today the kids are having another snow day! I think that this makes June 18th our last day of school, if we have no more snow days! Yikes!

This week we went to the Social Security Office to get Daniel a social security card. We filled out all of the paperwork and now just wait. We should receive his card within a week to 10 days. His card will say Fitsum Thomas Laughner and will have alien status associated with it. After we re-adopt, we will need to go back and get the alien status removed and get his name changed on it. After the re-adoption it will say Daniel Fitsum Laughner. Daniel also had his first haircut since he has been home. I took him and he did great until they got the small clippers out to trim around his ears. e did not like that. His hair is a little shorter than I would have it cut again, but it will grow. Daniel is doing great! The last couple of nights he has only woke up once. He also went to the church nursery for the first time! He did great! He has also been going to story time at our library. He loves it. He is Mr. Social everywhere we go. I can't believe how much he has grown and changed in two months.

Daniel plays in the snow!

Wow, time flies when you are having fun! I can't believe that it has been a month since I last posted. Let's see the month of December, we were back to IN 3 times. The whole family traveled out to say our good byes to my Grandpa, and for Daniel to meet him. Then about 10 days later Daniel and I flew back to IN for my Grandpa's funeral. We flew back home on Saturday evening. We then all took the train Tuesday night back to IN for Christmas. So lets see in 2 months Daniel has been in Africa, Rome and the United States. He has been to VA, CT, MA, NH, GA, KY, IN, NY, PA, OH, and MI. I think that I have a little world traveler. He has traveled by planes, trains and automobiles. I wish that I could say that our traveling was done for a while, but we are flying to AZ over President's break to see Tom's Mom who is on Hospice. We want Daniel to meet his Grandma. Christmas was good we spent it in IN. We got to catch up with family and friends. We also met up with the Black Fa
