The Branson Reunion was incredible... I just want to say thank you to all the families that worked so hard to make it possible. Thank you also to all the families that made the journey. I can't even begin to describe what it was like to meet all the families that we have shared this journey with. It was amazing to see so many healthy smiling faces from Ethiopia. I loved seeing the families that took pictures of Daniel in the transition home and prayed over him before we got to meet him. It was incredible to see the little ones again that we met in the transition home. We had the opportunity to meet many families and can't wait to meet up again some day! Adoption is a wonderful life changing journey and I am so glad to have shared it with all of you!

Today at 4:25 the call came.... It is 4:25 I was sitting out by the pool just getting ready to get in. The neighbor had just left and my kids were swimming. I sit on the edge to slide in and just then the phone rings. I think I will see who it is, but I am not going to answer it. It says 703.... oh my I think that is America World, I start crying. I answer the phone and it is Terra she asked me how I was, I ask is this "the call" she says yes... I am yelling at the kids get out of the pool, on the deck, no off the deck, close up the pool, it's "the call" I am just crying and going crazy! Day Four (tomorrow we go home)

Hello again. It is Thursday night! We went to Kids Care Orphanage today. That is where Daniel lived from March 31st until June 10th. It was really sad to see all the kids there that do not have families waiting to pick them up. We got some great videos of the older kids in their school singing the ABC's and singing in Amharic. We passed out granola bars and dum dums. We also took some playground balls. When we took Daniel into the home and told the nannies, that we had Fitsum, they just went crazy. They were so excited to see him. They held him and kissed him, and spent time talking to him. One of them talked to him in Amharic and Robel our guide translated it for us on video. There were rooms of healthy children, rooms of sick kids, rooms of toddlers, and the school house of about 30 kids. The kids just couldn't get enough attention from us.
